"I'm giving them a 2 based on today's experience. This is a shop that my husband has been taking the boys to for a number of years. When I get there, they were pretty busy and tell me it's about a 40-minute wait. So I leave go to Walmart and come back. It's only one other person waiting at this time so no big deal. We sign in and wait. There's two ladies and one guy working. (All appear to be Hispanic) The guy doesn't have a customer, the one lady is just finishing up on the customer she's working on. And one appeared to have just started on her customer. Anyway we're sitting maybe 20 minutes or so. A lady walks in (also Hispanic) and says I need to get my bangs fixed. They didn't cut them right the last time I was here. The lady that was just finishing up tells her "give me 5 minutes to sweep and I'll take care of it". I say my boys should be next. The other stylist (who later claimed to be the manager) says oh she came in earlier and got her haircut. It won't take long to fix her. The guy asks the lady who cut her hair. She can't remember. He pulled it up and realizes that he cut her hair a few days ago. Slip of the tongue. But anyways, I don't care how long it's going to take you to help her. You don't skip over a customer to help another customer. And if you wanted to help her first, you should have asked me was it okay if you did her first . Just when I was about to let it go, I hear the customer say to the stylist getting ready to cut her hair "when I came the other day they left one side of my being thicker than the other. I just need to get it thinned out". Wait I thought y'all said she came today. When I questioned it again the guy says oh she called in her appointment over the phone. Lies. Anyway I asked for the number to the owner of the store. She tells me so give it to me once she gets done. Once you've done cutting the boys hair I remind her again to provide me the number. This time she claims that she is not allowed to provide that information. I wish she would have told me that before cuz I would have never allowed her to cut their hair let alone paid her."

"I have one good thing to say about Sports Clips, they're close to home. That's the best I can say. I always have to go with the hubby to get his hair cut to "approve" of it, but generally I just sit in the waiting room playing with my iphone. At SportClips that always turns out to be a problem, because if I'm not supervising the cut he ends with lopsided hair. Another down side, it's in a strip center next to a Pizza Hut, so the whole place REEKS of pizza, and not in a good way."

"The husband gets his hair cut every 4 weeks. He was happy enough to go to SuperCuts near his office, but tired of the waits, staff turnover, crappy haircuts, etc. So he tried Sports Clips and is very happy! It's a little more (around $20) for a wash, cut, dry, style, warm towel and massage- but well worth it. The cuts are always good, they do free "in-between" trims too- so if you're not happy with how something is growing out- go back! Never had a bad hair cut here, the staff is friendly, helpful, and attentive, and yes, it is next to Pizza Hut, but it doesn't smell like pizza. It smells like hair care products like every other hair salon (discount or otherwise) does. The staff turnover is lower than other places, it's cleaner, well staffed - even at high demand times, and they have a discount card. What's not to love?"

"This is honestly the worst place to get a cut. They do not how to cut hair. Do not get a haircut here. You're better off getting one at walmart."

"We have had good luck recently with the stylists cutting my boys hair. My oldest has curly hair and no matter how many times I would ask to leave a bit of length for the hair to curl, they would always chop it all down. But recently the stylists have done a much better job of listening to my requests."
